the other day i mentioned that i had started a poncho. first of all, i think i'm the only person who hates knitting in the round. i like the weight and length of straight needles. they seem to balance better on my person or something. and i also purl much faster than i knit. so when i knit in the round i have to do everything backwards. so here i am knitting (or purling if you will) this poncho in the round on size 11 circular needles ... that are plastic ... and WHICH SUCK. i'm not having fun here.

so i went on ebay and purchased a set of denise needles...amy swears by these...so i'll see what happens. even if they don't improve things at least i can bring them on the plane.
