Breathe ....
on my way to work this morning, i stopped by the harvard coop ... and in a matter of minutes spent close to $60 on impulse buys...
a needlepoint wall calendar kit, a cross-stitch wall calendar kit and the knitting pattern a day desk calendar.
no sooner had i walked out of the store that i decided that the 2 wall calendar kits were going back. who needs that many calendars!? since when do i do cross-stitch? when am i going to do needle point? what was i thinking?
good thing i know where the receipt is.

too funny

I am SO not going to try to convince you to keep those calendars. Let me get this straight. There are TWELVE different designs that you have to stitch, one for each month!? So you'd be trying to do one needlepoint and one cross-stitch every month, get it blocked and behind the calendars in time? I'm hyperventilating just thinking about it. RUN back to the coop. RUN!

You could always keep the extra calendars as gifts. Maybe?

You might want to rethink the knitting pattern a day calender too. The one for this year is stupid. Stupid.

I love calendars, but I usually wait until after Jan 1st when they drop to about 50% cheaper.

Ahh, the pleasures of shopping in America. They take it back, no questions asked. I think you should keep at least one of the first two calenders, though. They're very cute.

Just warning you: the knitting-pattern-a-day calendar should be called the five-patterns-a-week-(if-you're-lucky) calendar.

I've been doing a fair amount of impulse-shop-regret-return myself lately. I don't know what's up with me ... who needs three of the same identical throw, just because they were on deep discount? Who?
Feh. I have to return them tomorrow.
Sorry about all the water in your basement! And pictures with the new digicam...? Pictures...?
And... hi!

I like the idea of those two calendars, at least- do they come with supplies as well?
It's easy to get sucked into calendars, though, there are so many cool ones out there.
