Show 'n' Tell

quick post before going off to work.

i was very productive this weekend  ... knitting wise. (i did absolutely nothing else other than go to the wedding of a former co-worker).

here's some progress made:

i finally finished a lamb that i had crocheted up but had never sewn together and stuffed (i made one last year i think).

Lamb

then i finished the fuzzy feet -- here they are felted up (joe really liked them although he wasn't sure he would ever wear them unless i put them on him and well i draw the line at bringing him his slippers at the end of hard days work).

Feltedfuzzfeet

here are some washcloths (from weekend knitting) i made last weekend from knitpicks crayon in purple and orange.  this is part of a birthday present that i'm working on.

Washcloths

(can i just say that this pattern is a pain in the ass?)

here's a sneak preview of another birthday present i'm working on (lots of birthdays in my world during the months of october, november and december (including mine by the way)).

Lavender

finally, here's a project started and finished this weekend.  i received this little toy making book earlier in the week (written and published by jess hutch -- her blog is fun to read too).

Robotgrass

Robotherb

this little robot was super easy to make and i even enjoyed sewing him up (which inspired me to finish up the lamb and other things that i haven't posted about yet.  i'll save them for another post.)  this is going to a nephew for x-mas.

Hey I showed this little lamb to my mom and she wanted to know if you were selling them? Email me! :)

The Toys are cute. I love knitting toys. I saw a pattern today for a monster...that would be a fun one to knit!

You crocheted a lamb? I am seriously impressed. When I was a kid my Nana taught me how to crochet but I can only do a straight line, lol. Have you ever made a dog? Where did you learn how to do this?

Happy Thanksgiving!

How cute are those ... and that robot is perfect! Finally something I could make my little boy ... :) CF is the Interweave model who does everything ... and Pam Allen's daughter as well. If you have Knitting in America, there's an old picture of her in there when she is about 12 years old. Go look! It's interesting! And thanks for the compliment of looking like her ... I could only aspire to look model-ish in real life. :)

Look, A KNITTED ROBOT!!!!! Ok, now that is some good knittin' ... and you finished le fuzzie feet... and my haven't you been busy. I love the new blog design, too. So much love here. And also... ROBOTS. heh heh

Love love love the new layout- looks fab.

I'm tired just thinking about how productive you've been! I *love* the robot! :)

Wow, were you ever productive! What a great weekend though, feels good I bet. Love the sheep and robot is so cute.

I LOVE the washcloths, sheep and robots! You certainly have been a busy-bee. Your friends are lucky to have someone thoughtful & handy like you!

Everything is cute--love the slippers. You've been busy.

Turn down the heat in the house really low. Maybe then he'll reach for the slippers.

;-)

My, you've been busy! And making some way cool stuff. (And your blog is lookin' mighty fine, too :)

You were a busy bee. Will J get the fuzzy feet for good?

Wow! You were productive this weekend.
Nice stuff!
The robot is awesome!

Great robot! Yep - you're right - pain in the ass. I only made one & that was enough. :::grin:::

The robot looks like he swallowed a tv and the antennae came out his head. LOVE IT.

Cute, cute toys. I think that I need both of them.

I've made those washcloths and I agree. But they're so cute when they're done and they do make great gifts!
