The Pressure
so what do you get the woman who has everything she wants or needs AND also happens to be your mother-in-law for her birthday?
you make her a set of lavender sachets. these were knitted up on size 2 needles with some mercerized cotton i had laying around. i got the idea from the knitter's bible and the lavender off of ebay.
i think she liked them.
and here's a picture of our tree house. i love this little tree house.

Fantastic idea - thanks for sharing. It's the perfect addition to the things I've picked up for my own MIL.

Pretty! What a nice gift idea!
PS: We did do Thanksgiving here in France. Stuffing, green beans, roasted potatoes, pumpkin soup, and a turkey breast. No whole turkey this year since it was just the two of us.

Those sashets are SO. PRETTY.
Yay for treehouses! Did you see the article in the Globe this weekend about the luxury tree/playhouses? A few of them were bigger than my condo. Ridiculous.
