New Friends
i think most of us can all agree that blogging, reading and writing, is a massive time suck. i'm sure that were i not to blog, i would have worked my way up to VP-in-charge-of-everything or would have found a cure for something or other. but as i've mentioned before, i'd be a very lonely knitter.
look who came to visit?!!!! (caro's husband, elisa and kellee were also there.)
caro is every bit as charming, funny and nice as she is on her blog. and that's not the tequila talking.
really.

Caro is definitely on my list of top 10 favorite things about Austin. And blogging? It has forever changed my life - I met my husband not online but through our blogs in a way - and I am very grateful for it. Even if it means I never cure anything.

Good all over you! I think that's the kind of thing that we all hope for.

I was just thinking about blogging last night before I went to sleep. How come my diary was so private when I was a teenager, and now I broadcast every little thing to the entire world?
And still I have to agree: I've met (and actually MET-met) some of the greatest people through blogging.
Weird.

Life would just plain suck without blogging. My hubby always says I get this little smile as I blog. (I never notice it) but the family does-there has to be something good in that!

LOL looks like a good time was had by all!

SO much fun! It is a massive time-suck (and an addiction) but it feels so worth it when you get the chance to meet other fun bloggers :)

I'd like to think I'd be more productive, have a neater house, etc., if I weren't doing this, but really? I think I would just read more. The reading of actual, real books has dropped way off since I started keeping a blog. I feel bad about that, but not quite bad enough to stop. ;-)

Yay, Caro! I think I can smell those limes.
So, speaking of time-sucks and knitting friends, are you coming to NH?

I had SO much fun that night. I'm pretty sure we all could easily have chatted well into the wee hours of the morning. I'm also sure the Husband would have kept buying us tequila and cupcakes too!

OMG, I shuddered involuntarily looking at that glass! Where's the salt? You're so right, if nothing else, it helps to know that there are others out there just as addicted to yarn and with just as many WIPs (or more) than me!

Sounds like so much fun!

At least my hand made it onto your blog. ;)
It was a fun and good times kind of evening. And that's not the tequila talking, either.
We heart Caro.

Hee hee he--I missed out on meeting Caro when we both lived in Austin, but she definitely seems like the kind of girl you'd want to do tequila shooters with!
