Open for Business

so remember about 6 weeks ago when i told you all that i was working on a crafty project and that you'd find out about it soon enough when i was ready to announce it?

well i'm ready.  and i'm open for business.  or rather will be at Rhinebeck.

thanks to the encouragement and connections of one ms.  mcyarnpants, i've been given the opportunity peddle my  wares at Blogger Bingo Headquarters, aka a Craftman's Touch  and Red Maple Sportswear Co.  David and Mel at Craftman's Touch/RedMaple Sportswear will be set up in Barn 39, Booth D, and they've generously agreed to carry my very first line of photo cards.  you won't find fiber dyed by me, or crocheted toilet paper cozies (although i bet you wish you were).  nope, i'm in the card making business kids.

and if you don't buy them all, i'll be out of the card making business.

seriously though, i've worked really hard on creating something that i hope you all will like.  each card measures 5x7 inches, is blank inside and is made from quality natural colored cardstock and an individually printed glossy photograph, shot by me.  i've enclosed each card (and envelope) in a protective cellophane sleeve.  and on the back of each card you will find my little monster-yarn-face logo.

so as soon as you get to Rhinebeck, go as fast as you can to Barn 39, Booth D, and check them out.  and check out David and Mel's stuff too, oh and stitchy's. you know, because i owe them.

if you aren't going to Rhinebeck and are still interested in my cards, you can always email me at bnt_images@yahoo.com.

How flippin cute! Love love love the pumpkins!
I've always thought that the cutest pumpkins are the ones with character-- rather than the blemish-free variety.

:0)

aDORable!

Oooh, how awful that I didn't see this until after Rhinebeck was over! I'm sorry I missed you *and* your beautiful cards.

Congratulations! They're awesome :)

OOoh Congrats! Are you going etsy with them too? Love them btw.

Congratulations!!! The photo bug is a dangerous one! :)

Yay & congrats! I'm sure you will sell out of them!!!! :)

Yay for you!! :o)

Ok, you know that I definitely won't be at Rhinebeck [small matter of different continents and all...] so please, email me about the cards! I think I'm going to love 'em... :)

Congrats!

Yay Stitchy! I've always said you had the most amazingly creative photo eye I've ever seen, and now I get to own proof... if I can get there fast enough, that is.

Congratulations! They look great! I think I guessed something with photography, didn't I? :o)

Awesome cards! Hope to see you at Rhinebeck!

Now I'm sorrier than ever that I'm missing Rhinebeck! I'm sure these will be flying out the barn/door.

Wow. Excellent. I love giving people handmade, creative cards. Screw Hallmark.

I'll be keeping an eye out for them, and for you- you're a square on my blogger bingo card!

This is a great idea, Maryse! I'm such a fan of your photos. Unfortunately, I'm not going to Rhinebeck . . .

Those look amazing!

Wow! You GO girl! That's wonderful. :) I'll definitely be buying some soon...although not at Rhinebeck, unfortunately.

Dude, you are awesome. Go you!!!

I love the little monster yarn guy on them, he's perfect. I hope there's some left by the time I get there!

Congratulations! Can't wait to see you and the cards!

Love them love them!!

That is so wonderful! If I were going, I'd definitely pick up some. Will you sell some after Rhinebeck? Or possibly set up an Etsy shop to sell your cards?

This is very exciting!!! I'll see you at Rhinebeck!

That's amazing! I'm sure you'll sell them all. Can't wait to see them!

That is SO COOL. I really like your photos.

All this and school too? You are making me tired just watching you.

Barn 39. Got it.

Oh, yay, that's excellent!!!
So, I understand there won't be any crocheted toilet paper cozies, but will there at least be photo cards of them?!? :)

fantastic! what great shots - should be a big hit @ Rhinebeck.

i had a pleasure of seeing them in person... and they are fantastic, people!! get quickly to barn 39!! my favorites were Spinning wheel bobbin in action (as ms. mcyarnpants' was) and adorable baby sheep as you see in right side of the first photo. wooo hooo!

I've always been a fan of your photography so I'll be sure to stop by the booth :-)

I think you just made barn 39 the place to be :) Totally cool! I'm so planning on keeping you in business.

See how exciting it is - you have me speaking like a 16 yr old again. Geeze...

Mmmm, makes a nice Christmas present! They look great.

WooHoo!

What a wonderful use of your talent with a camera.

Woo-hoo! I got to see them last night. In fact, they are in my possession right now and I can attest to their stunning beauty. I'm looking forward to seeing if my favorites go first. (Spinning wheel bobbin in action or close-up crocheted blanket, anyone?)

Oh, how exciting!

Those look gorgeous, and I wish I were going to be at Rhinebeck to see them in person.

Wow! I will definitely be picking up a few of those at Rhinebeck!

That's wonderful. I must have the pumpkin one -- I'll be by . . .

Congratulations! Wish I could make it to Rhinebeck to see them in person

Congrats! Will there be an etsy shop at some point?

that's so awesome!!! I'm totally gonna get me some of those on Saturday. I love sending mail and these are beyond perfect for notes to far away friends (duh).

Great job on the cards! Hope you come back from Rhinebeck with empty hands and full pcokets. (Well, at least on the card front. You're hands can be full of fiber and yarn.)

Beautiful!!!!! You're totally going to sell out of them! Congratulations!

PS: I was quite in love with the coin purses from a couple of posts ago. I can't wait to move into some place with washer/dryer so I don't have to use quarters anymore. Ok, yeah, I think I heard that you can felt by hand, but I am "the lazy" so that ain't gonna happen.

Congratulations this is very exciting! From what I see they look beautiful. I love the detail of having your logo on the back :)

Congrats! They looks gorgeous.

Yay! I'll do my best to make sure you stay in business. Because I owe YOU.

Hooray! I was hoping you would be selling these when I saw them on your Flickr.

Congrats! I bet they are all beautiful. You take fabulous pictures.

I don't know whether to be scared or not at this news... I've been working on something similar and know that under no circumstances can I complete with you!

On the other hand, I love the sheep head ones!!

Oh Hooray!!! Congratulations!!

That's wonderful! I'll be buying some, I'm sure.

OMG. This is FABULOUS news! And I expect they will sell like hotcakes, too. HOORAY! :-) :-) :-)
