Open for Business
so remember about 6 weeks ago when i told you all that i was working on a crafty project and that you'd find out about it soon enough when i was ready to announce it?
well i'm ready. and i'm open for business. or rather will be at Rhinebeck.
thanks to the encouragement and connections of one ms. mcyarnpants, i've been given the opportunity peddle my wares at Blogger Bingo Headquarters, aka a Craftman's Touch and Red Maple Sportswear Co. David and Mel at Craftman's Touch/RedMaple Sportswear will be set up in Barn 39, Booth D, and they've generously agreed to carry my very first line of photo cards. you won't find fiber dyed by me, or crocheted toilet paper cozies (although i bet you wish you were). nope, i'm in the card making business kids.
and if you don't buy them all, i'll be out of the card making business.
seriously though, i've worked really hard on creating something that i hope you all will like. each card measures 5x7 inches, is blank inside and is made from quality natural colored cardstock and an individually printed glossy photograph, shot by me. i've enclosed each card (and envelope) in a protective cellophane sleeve. and on the back of each card you will find my little monster-yarn-face logo.
so as soon as you get to Rhinebeck, go as fast as you can to Barn 39, Booth D, and check them out. and check out David and Mel's stuff too, oh and stitchy's. you know, because i owe them.
if you aren't going to Rhinebeck and are still interested in my cards, you can always email me at bnt_images@yahoo.com.

How flippin cute! Love love love the pumpkins!
I've always thought that the cutest pumpkins are the ones with character-- rather than the blemish-free variety.

aDORable!

Woo-hoo! I got to see them last night. In fact, they are in my possession right now and I can attest to their stunning beauty. I'm looking forward to seeing if my favorites go first. (Spinning wheel bobbin in action or close-up crocheted blanket, anyone?)

Posted by: Chris | October 17, 2007 at 03:05 PM
that's so awesome!!! I'm totally gonna get me some of those on Saturday. I love sending mail and these are beyond perfect for notes to far away friends (duh).
Posted by: maya | October 17, 2007 at 03:01 PM
Great job on the cards! Hope you come back from Rhinebeck with empty hands and full pcokets. (Well, at least on the card front. You're hands can be full of fiber and yarn.)
Posted by: Kat | October 17, 2007 at 02:56 PM
Beautiful!!!!! You're totally going to sell out of them! Congratulations!
PS: I was quite in love with the coin purses from a couple of posts ago. I can't wait to move into some place with washer/dryer so I don't have to use quarters anymore. Ok, yeah, I think I heard that you can felt by hand, but I am "the lazy" so that ain't gonna happen.

I don't know whether to be scared or not at this news... I've been working on something similar and know that under no circumstances can I complete with you!
On the other hand, I love the sheep head ones!!
