Eye Crazy Ass Bagel Friday
i work near a bagel shop and yesterday, when coming back from a meeting, i got a hankering and decided that a bagel made a perfectly nice lunch. so what if it was only 10:45am.
yes i know it's green. but doesn't it look great with the strawberry cream cheese? very spring like.
yeah, because if not for the green bagels, you'd never know that yesterday was the first day of spring.

ohmigod, that bagel looks horrifying!!

That bagel is sticking it's tongue out at me!
Spring had better hurry up. It wouldn't be so back except for the wind!

I looks like a great, crusty bagel no matter what color it was!

Dang it. Now I want a blueberry bagel with strawberry cream cheese (one of my friends swears by bagels with plain cream cheese and jam on top).

*boggle* Green bagels. What'll they think of next.
Here it's snowing and we might get 5" before it's done. Woe.

So, if the Official Preppy Handbook came out with a cookbook - that bagel would be in it! All it needs is a lacoste alligator to complete the look.
I agree, very spring! (Even with the windchill factor today!)

It looks weird to me, but I'll take your word for it that it was good. ;-)

Bagel blisters look scary on green bagels. I bet it tasted good though!

So did it taste good?

The pink cream cheese sorta looks like a tongue sticking out.

I hope that's not mold on that bagel ;-). What makes it so green?
Trees on W. 53rd Street: budding.

Yes, I am also curious - what does "green bagel flavor" taste like?
Posted by: elisa | March 21, 2008 at 10:28 AM

That is one kookoo looking bagel. But it does look yummy with the pink cream cheese.
And the spring thing? Count yourself lucky. At least you don't have 10 feet of snow outside your door like we do in Ottawa!

That picture is downright technicolor. Unlike our dreary, muddy surroundings. Thanks for the color.

I've started examining all the trees around my house looking for buds. I think I'm getting into this whole 'ready for Spring' thing.

Do they always have green bagels or was this for St. Patrick's Day this week? And what flavor was the green bagel, anyway?
