BABETTE IS FINISHED!!!!!!
i'm really pleased the way this turned out. it could stand to be a little bigger -- it's only 44inches square -- but other than that i'm very proud of it.
i used 40 different colors of knitpicks palette and i'm pretty sure that i never once repeated a sequence of color. i can't be sure though, because i didn't write anything down.

this was also a really fun and easy project. so if you are crochet inclined, you should give it a try. just remember to weave in your ends as you go along (i did, and it took me no more than 15 minutes to clip some of those ends). i also recommend sewing up the sections as you go too.
