Ten On Tuesday
This Tuesday's "Ten On Tuesday" is "How to Save Money."
1. So when Carole emails me that emily parson has just updated her shop -- DO NOT LISTEN TO HER!
2. In fact, stay off of etsy all together.
3. When i happen to see notice that adrian's updated her shop, email Carole to let her know so that she'll buy up everything that might tempt me.
4. When J's not paying attention, turn down the thermostat from a tropical 69 degrees that he has it programmed to, to a more appropriate 65 degrees. i mean honestly.
5. Find the manual for the thermostat so that i don't have to keep doing this every night.
6. Drive my car to work. YES BECAUSE EVEN WHEN GAS WAS $4.00 A GALLON IT WAS STILL CHEAPER FOR ME TO DRIVE MY CAR TO WORK EVERY DAY THAN IT WAS TO TAKE THE COMMUTER RAIL! WHAT IS UP WITH THAT MBTA!
7. Wait to buy new clothes until I lose 60 lbs. that'll keep me out of the stores.
8. Stop knitting socks. "You know. For the price of one pair of handknit socks, you can buy a dozen socks!" People are so helpful.
9. Wax my own bikini line. Yes I've done it. And I'll do it again. I am strong. You do not want to mess with me.
10. Learn to like black coffee, because even if I buy it at Dunkin Donuts (but not the DD with the televisions always tuned to Fox News -- I'm boycotting) or Starbucks, a large (or venti) black coffee is still cheaper than a latte.
