Pot Holder Swap Deadline Is Fast Approaching

if you joined the pot holder swap in March, then you know that the crocheted pot holder swap deadline is in a matter of days.  if you don't know what the hell i'm talking about then you can click on the potholder swap button i've got there in the sidebar or here.  if you joined the swap and need a refresher on the rules, you can check them out here.  don't forget that when you send them in to include postage to have a package sent back to you.  i mention it here because i know it's the one thing i would forget.

anyway, all of this introductory stuff to tell you that i'm done.  and not a moment too soon.  because i was getting kind of sick of crocheting potholders.

(yes, i made 7.  you only have to make 5 for the swap.  do not panic.)

anyway, my potholders were inspired by a vintage potholder that i found at a flea market.   and like that older potholder, i made mine with cotton thread and a steel hook.

i raveled the details here and hope to write up the pattern soon.
